I needed to pop in because I have a huge favor to ask.

We really, really need a Damon over at Not A Hero. We had a couple, who were fantastic, but not nearly active enough (the unfollow date is 6 days without a hiatus warning, which I think we can all agree is extremely reasonable.)

I am an active Alaric over there, finding the group thing much nicer than the indie thing (see previous post.) We also have an active Elena, and pretty much the entire TVD cast minus a Stefan and Elijah, so Damon will have a lot of people to talk to, as well as some fabulous OCs.

This is set mid season three so Ric’s been going through the whole psychosis without his brother in arms by his side. It’s been tough!

Everyone who has a TVD indie understands the feeling of being replaced or not being good enough, etc. I was recently severely put down by a large group of people I thought were my friends, so I’ve been trying hard to stray away from feelings of rejection and betrayal, etc, which is why I’ve been really not around. It’s tough — I’m recovering from depression so it’s like… where most days I really enjoy being here, there’s always small things that bring you down immediately, y’know? I’m sure most of you understand how that goes, ‘tis the world of being an indie RP blog.

Anyway. I’ve actually joined a group RPG and that’s where I’ve been venting my Alaric muse, among my wonderful Nate as well as an old OC I can’t seem to get out of my head — Samael.

It’s called NotAHero-RP and while there are things in that RPG I’m normally extremely picky about as an indie… the group of people involved are so lovely, you wouldn’t believe. Everyone is very kind, very cooperative, and it really feels like a team of writers. I was the new person to the group because most of them knew each other from before and they were all so welcoming, it didn’t even really feel like it.

The only thing I’m really missing from this group is a solid Damon. Our’s is currently on the inactivity warning and will most likely be booted either today or tomorrow. A huge perk to writing Alaric Saltzman is the Team Badass bromance of course, so that’s been a little disappointing. If any of you are interested in joining a TVD AU season 3 RPG, please check this place out. They’re on a female ban right now and male characters are really needed, but if you need any help thinking of someone, please just message me via skype (analise.saltzman) or AIM (ricsaltzman@hotmail.com)

There are still a couple canon characters open and there will be even more characters open at a later date (it’s hard to stay dead in Mystic Falls, right?) We really need a Sam and Dean Winchester and several other Supernatural characters as of now, pretty much the entire cast! Same goes for Buffyverse (I would love an Illyria or Fred Burkle.) As well as Damon Salvatore of course, and probably a Stefan. We have nearly the entire cast of TVD minus active Salvatore bros, which is really weird, and a Meredith.

So yeah. Here’s my explanation/ad spree, there. I’ll most likely return to this blog again at some point but, like I said… still recovering and as long as I can’t deal with triggering emotions here it’s best I stay away for my own health.
